About Jason

Jason Olsen is a serial entrepreneur based in Salt Lake City, Utah and is the co-founder of Prestman Auto, one of the nation's largest branded title dealerships that sells over 2,500 cars a year, and is founder of IMAGE Studios, a salon suite franchisor with 100 locations open in 24 states with another 192 locations under development nationwide. He has extensive experience in startups, forming his first company at the age of 16. He has been called the illegitimate love-child of strategy and creativity, harnessing the power of both traits to build uniquely branded companies that have strong cultures and clearly defined visions. He was a finalist for the Ernst & Young's "Entrepreneur of The Year" program in 2017, is a member of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) and was recognized as “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2018.

In 2024, IMAGE Studios partnered with MPK Equity Partners to position the company to further expand and support its franchise base and strengthen its position as a leading brand within the franchise industry. IMAGE Studios has also been recognized by several organizations for its incredible growth, including the INC 5000 "Fastest Growing Companies in America" for the past two years and as one of the top 100 growth companies in Utah by the Mountain West Capital Network. Image Studios was recently recognized by INC Magazine as a "Best Workplaces in 2022" and an “INC 5000” company for the past several years.

Jason has served as an advisory board member for the Westminster Social Impact Incubator, chairman of the board for Equality Utah, and is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program. He is also a private pilot, ultra distance trail runner, pianist, nervous paraglider, classic car collector, slow Dvorak typer, and skier. He lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with his husband Tim, and their daughter Sophia.
